A thorough evaluation of your food and exercise habits, as well as your medical history, will be done during this consultation. Your dietician and yourself will collaborate to determine both your short-term and long-term goals. The final 30min of the consultation will be devoted to general nutritional education and advice to assist you in achieving your goals. Upon completion of your initial session, you will receive an email with these guidelines, recipes, and any other pertinent nutrition materials.
In order to assist you achieve your objectives, your dietitian will review your goals and progress during the follow-up visit and offer you motivation and helpful guidance.
You will receive a customized meal plan following your initial session that is tailored to your goals, body type, medical background, and dietary preferences. Please be aware that this is a strategy to assist you in implementing sustainable lifestyle changes rather than a strict “diet.” Meal plans can be used for weight gain, managing certain medical conditions, controlling dietary intolerances, or simply providing additional structure and support when transitioning to a plant-based diet. They are not just for weight loss. A list of recipes, and general nutrition standards, are also included in the meal plan. Within three days of your initial session, you will receive an email with your customized meal plan from your dietitian.
Secure video call technology is used for all consultation types. You can access your video session from any device by using a link. For people who live outside of the designated areas or have extremely hectic work or school schedules, virtual consultations are ideal. For all virtual consultations, payment must be made 24 hours in advance and standard consultation rates will apply.
